Abdullah Al-Khudairi Responds to International Astronomy Center’s Crescent Sighting Statement

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The famous seer Abdullah Al-Khudairi responded to the statements of the International Astronomy Center, which indicated that it is not possible to see the crescent of Shawwal today.

He said during an interview with Al Arabiya channel: “The moon will start at 6:22, and the crescent moon will stay at the Sudair Observatory for approximately 24 minutes.”

He continued: “There is an eclipse that occurred today in Australia, Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean, and the astronomical observatory in Hotat Sudair published about this eclipse and explained the conditions of the crescent for this day.”

He added: “There are specialized astronomical observatories, but the Kattameya Observatory did not issue anything, and those who issued it have a point of view in approving a specific standard, and the difference is not with astronomical academics but with some amateurs, and the International Astronomy Center has tremendous efforts, but I invite them to verify the standard and intensify efforts, They will find out and they will change this standard that they agreed upon.”
