Initially, it’s a chat on a chat app that connects a 37-year-old man and a 13-year-old teenager. The case gave rise to the indictment of the suspect for having had sexual relations with the teenager between 2017 and 2018. The facts occurred in a car parked in the countryside, near Caveirac. Initially, the case had taken a criminal turn for rape.
Then the evolution of the procedure gave rise to the correctional referral of the accused for sexual assault and for “sexual propositions made to a minor of 15 years made by an adult using an electronic means of communication”, the Snapchat application, in l ‘occurrence.

For his part, Stanislas Vallat, the deputy public prosecutor considered that the offenses were indeed constituted and requested a sentence of six to seven years against Abderazzak El Yakhlifi.
After deliberation, the defendant was sentenced to four years in prison, one of which was suspended. He is also ordered to compensate the victim who is a civil party. For the suspended sentence, the probation services will have to check that they are working and compensate the victim. The defendant was kept in detention to serve his sentence.
