Magdy Abdel-Ati, the coach of Aswan Club, announced his resignation from his mission, after a tie with a goal in front of Vanguard of the Army in the postponed match of the seventh round of the Premier League.
In his statements to “Time Sports” channel, Abdel-Atty said, after the Vanguard of the Army meeting, that he will submit his resignation to the club’s board of directors after 10 games with the team.
Abdel-Aty continued: “I want to remove the embarrassment from the management of the Aswan Club. I have done everything I can to achieve good results, but always the results were negative despite the good level.”
He added: “I wish success to Aswan Club in the coming period and to stay in the Premier League.”
Aswan settled in the 17th (penultimate) position in the Premier League table with 7 points before confronting Zamalek in the next round.
Aswan has so far achieved a single win and a draw in 4 games, while losing half of its matches.
