Originally, ABBA wanted to include the song Just A Notion on the 1979 album Voulez-Vous, but in the end it did not make it into the selection. And so it’s his turn now, after more than forty years. This is the third single from the album Voyage, which will be released on Friday, November 5.
One of the members of the group, Björn Ulvaeus, described Just A Notion as a “comically happy song” that hopes to “cheer the audience in these dark times”. When asked why he and his colleagues did not decide to publish the song earlier, he replied that he had no idea. “It will probably remain a secret forever,” he said.
The band announced their return to the scene in September this year. In addition to the single Just A Notion, she has also released the songs I Still Have Faith in You and Don’t Shut Me Down. There will be a total of ten songs on the new album. Part of the return of ABBA is the planned series of concerts in London, which will begin at the end of May 2022. However, the members themselves will not participate in the show live, their “digital versions” will be present.
ABBA was founded in 1972 and its members are Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. By 2010, the band had sold over 375 million records and continues to celebrate success despite disintegrating in 1981. Its greatest hits include songs Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Voulez Vous and The Winner Takes It All.
