The national leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, criticized the intention of “the left” to divide neighborhoods and towns in the Community of Madrid by ideologies. He did so in a massive rally from the Plaza de España in Leganés, accompanying the candidate for regional presidency Rocío Monasterio.
“The posh of the left do not dare to go to Vallecas or Leganés”, said Abascal who accused those parties of “Divide Madrid between neighborhoods of one type and another ”.
“That they do like Vox that goes to all the neighborhoods and that they check if people give them affection or reproach them,” he defended.
“They do not go out to the streets because they cannot stand up and that is why they appeal to violence against us,” he said, referring to the Vallecas incidents.
“We are risking preventing the communist assault on the Community of Madrid”, concluded in this argument Abascal.
The national president of the party also made reference to the short safety distance between those attending the rally (something that the government delegate or the mayor of Getafe has criticized for an act in the town).
“You are quite together but who is going to blame you if we were in Congress yesterday … if all the deputies were well together, in a closed space, and we Spaniards could not spend half an hour in the street with a mask?”
