Abascal is accused of literally copying a Trump speech | Politics

The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has turned in the last days in the electoral campaign of the Basque and Galician elections that will take place on July 12. The far-rightist has staged several rallies in the two autonomous communities and has come to ensure that his party is running for elections “without freedom” because Vox does not attend these elections “on equal terms” due to the successive demonstrations that occur in the vicinity of their rallies.

However, one of the things that has transpired from one of his last public appearances has been the great resemblance of his speech with that of one of the most famous political leaders in the world: Donald Trump.

“Our people are not nearly as violent as the communist and separatist mob, but if they ever were, it would be a terrible day for them.” Abascal affirmed in one of his last rallies, as Vox himself collects in a tweet on his official account.

It has been the account of the satirical newspaper ‘El Jueves’ which has highlighted that this sentence pronounced by Santiago Abascal is almost the same, word for word, as that pronounced by the president of United States, Donald Trump, in the famous rally in Tulsa (Oklahoma) that played in terms of public.

“Our people are not that violent but if they ever were, it would be a terrible day for others,” Trump said. Almost the same words as Abascal.
