After Emil Frey Group, representing Citroën, DS and Peugeot since 2016, took over Opel’s exclusive Czech representation on the basis of the PSA acquisition, the new agreement similarly follows last year’s PSA and FCA merger, which resulted in the Stellantis Group. It currently manufactures in 30 countries and has sales offices in 130 markets around the world.

Following the transaction, the Emil Frey Group will import a total of nine Stellantis brands to the Czech Republic and Slovakia and eight Stellantis brands to Hungary. He will take responsibility for all FCA Central and Eastern European activities in Hungary, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, including employees. All existing contracts with concessionaires will also be transferred.

The company announced in early March that it wants to sell only electric cars in Europe since 2030. Therefore, it intends to expand its range of electric cars to more than 75 models and achieve sales of five million electric cars per year.
