LIBREVILLE, September 19 (AGP)-Having welcomed with hope the measure of the president of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI), Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, granting 1000 budget positions to teachers in pre-salary situations, the collective of teachers of Protestant private establishments calls on the Head of State to take them into account in these administrative regularizations. So much theyhave been working for several years without salaries or pre-salaries in the country’s private Protestant establishments.
«These fathers and mothers that we are also aspire to improve their living conditions, by taking them into account in the regularization of administrative situations”declared the collective, during a press briefing held this Tuesday, September 19, in Libreville.
The collective also denounced the blocking of their files within the Ministry of National Education. “ Since 2019, when we took steps to find solutions to this problem, the secretariat and technical services of the Ministry of National Education at the time have remained insensitive to this situation, despite the fact that our files remain to the DCRH of the said ministry, despite the fact that we are in the field, despite the fact that we have our service appointments, our presence at posts in the establishments where we are lecturers, despite our certificates of affection, despite the fact that we are regularly summoned for official examinations, despite the fact that we are regularly inspected. Better, Mr. President, despite the calls from the two ministries (Public Service and Ministry of National Education) by the Prime Ministers Mr. Julien NKOGHE BEKALE and Mrs. Rose Christiane OSSOUKA RAPONDA, to resolve this problem, calls taken up by the Presidents of the Institutions , National Assembly and Economic, Social and Environmental Council. We then understand, at the risk of being mistaken, that this blockage is voluntary, maintained and keeps nearly 200 families in precariousness”these teachers said.
According to the Ministry of National Education, the sale ofs 1000 budget positions will concern teachers in pre-salary situations, school leavers, direct recruitments whose files are old, and beneficiaries in teaching situations.
