The plane flew through Serbia and Romania without an approved flight plan
The two-seater plane that violated Bulgaria’s airspace was found abandoned at an old airport in the Targovishte village of Buhovtsi. This was announced by the press center of the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office – Varna. An inspection is to be carried out, as well as data on the movement of the aircraft on an international route.
The plane was found on Thursday while searching for possible landing sites in Targovishte district in connection with a case announced by the Ministry of Defense. The ministry announced that on June 8 a small plane entered the airspace of our country. According to the data available so far, the plane took off from Hungary and flew through Serbia and Romania without an approved flight plan.
