A new shooter exclusive to the PS5, is being developed by Blue Box Game Studios. Abandoned is a first-person, open world horror and survival shooter.
The Abandoned development team is looking forward to showing new images of the game’s gameplay soon. The title is still in an early stage of development.
The story
The plot revolves around Jason Longfield, who wakes up in a strange forest. Jason doesn’t remember how he ended up in this place, but soon finds out that he was kidnapped and taken there for an obscure purpose. Now Jason’s only goal is to fight for his survival, and try to escape from this scary forest.
Abandoned promises to bring a high level of realism, through the immersion technology of DualSense. Players will feel every interaction during the game, like being hit by a bullet. When you pull the trigger on a loaded or unloaded gun, it will feel different.
The 3D audio present in the PS5, will help the player to make his tactical decisions, when hearing the shot sound, it will be possible to distinguish which side was the shot.
Blue Box Game Studios promised a full game trailer soon. Abandoned will be available exclusively on PS5 not end of 2021.
