The aura of mystery around the ‘Abandoned’ game, for PlayStation 5, only increases. This Friday morning (25th), director Hasan Kahraman recorded a video and posted it on developer BlueBox Game Studio’s account on Twitter communicating the postponement of the game’s app-trailer for the month of August. The news should arrive at the end of this month of June.
“The last two weeks have been very stressful for us. The team is very tired,” Hasan said in the video. “We were hoping to launch the app today and I know many of you are looking forward to it, so thank you very much for that. Thank you very much. However, I decided to postpone the app until August, when the first trailer will also be released,” he explained.

Hasan added that the quality of the app and what’s being shown didn’t match the standards of the small team. “We just wanted to give a solid first impression of the game. At the moment, the application is not there yet”, added the director of ‘Abandoned’.
Hasan Kahraman’s video should clarify, but it brought even more conspiracy theories. Players believe he’s an actor hired by game designer Hideo Kojima to hide a new project from ‘Silent Hill‘. Now, followers go further and claim that the director is a CG character.
“Has anyone watched the Hassan video again? This guy is CG. He’s not real and I’m not kidding. It’s that ‘realistic graphics’ tweet they posted a while ago, which is what made me think about that video response and why that person is probably computer rendering,” wrote the @ikotherainman user.
‘Abandoned’ will be a game of survival horror. It has generated a lot of speculation in recent weeks and remains shrouded in mystery. Even with speculations about being a secret ‘Silent Hill’ project, the developers at Blue Box Game Studios claim that they “have no relationship” with the other title.
