Mass Effect fans noticedthat BioWare’s blog of the day N7 has another concept art for the next installment of the space saga, featuring the Citadel.
As fans have suggested, the Citadel is most likely in the background of the moon and looks abandoned due to the fact that the keepers have stopped maintaining the station. It should also be noted that the tower where the Council Hall was located is missing from the center of the space station. This is easy to see compared to Mass Effect 2 art.
A spaceship flies over one of the “arms” of the Citadel and we can assume that it is a Normandy SR-2 or the same ship shown on the first official poster of the game last year.
The active phase of development of the next part of Mass Effect will begin immediately after the release of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, scheduled for the end of 2023.
