Aaron Greenberg does not apologize for Starfield not making it to PS5

Pete Hines, director of Bethesda and Aaron Greenberg, member of the Xbox Marketing Team, have participated in a podcast, where they have been commenting on the latest announcements that Xbox has launched. The Xbox and Bethesda conference was by far the most compelling and entertaining of E3 2021. As promised, games became the main protagonists. During the almost 90 minutes that the event lasted, the two companies announced great exit titles for Xbox Game Pass. Starfield was one of the most important, but even more so was the Xbox exclusivity that was confirmed during E3 2021. Exclusivity that led to a great controversy in networks.

Following the announcement of the exclusivity of Starfield on Xbox, Hines expressed his opinion regarding PS5 users. The manager commented that he fully understood the frustration of PS5 players, who will not finally enjoy Starfield, and that he himself will continue to enjoy the games released by Sony on PS5, the console of which he is a user. Despite this, his words were mistakenly interpreted as an apology to PS5 users for the exclusivity of Starfield and Hines himself had to clarify his words on Twitter, noting that he had not apologized for the exclusivity of the Bethesda game.

Commenting on the situation with Greenberg, Hines mentions that he has “taken the day off from Twitter” after what happened. However, Aaron Greenberg has taken the opportunity to clarify that he “does not apologize”, probably referring to the exclusivity of Starfield on Xbox; exclusivity for which some users have understood that Microsoft should apologize.
