However, the judge refused to hear the case, stating that it fell under the jurisdiction of the MP-MLA Special Court.”This case is not under my jurisdiction,” the judge declared. “It belongs to the special court related to MP-MLA.You can go to the Rouse Avenue court for further action.”
The police had initially requested a 10-day remand for Balyan from the Dwarka court.
Following the Dwarka Court’s directive, the Delhi Police team proceeded to the Rouse Avenue Court to pursue the MCOCA case against Balyan. They are seeking a 10-day remand. The Rouse Avenue Court is scheduled to hear the remand request on Friday, December 6th, at 12 noon. As Balyan is a sitting MLA,his case will be heard by the MP-MLA Special Court.
“this case is no longer under my jurisdiction,” the judge said. “This case belongs to the special court related to MP-MLA, so you can go to (Delhi Police Crime Branch) Rouse Avenue Court for further action in this case. No further legal action will be taken in this case only there.”
