Apparently in a neoliberal government of the Mitsotakis philosophy, even their own laws are not enough for them to play their own games.
Or rather they are enough since they have found a way to bypass them and appear legitimate. After all, when they want something, they do it with quick procedures as opposed to when they proclaim something for the eyes of the world but don’t want it!

This may have been true for two thousand years “Caesar’s wife is not enough to be honest, she must also appear honest” but in our case apparently neither one nor the other applies when we talk about the Mitsotakis government, about his chosen ones and in this particular case about George Pitsilis, of the well-known and excellent AADE.
In this particular case everything was “typically” done correctly, or as they would say “by the book”. Except that apparently nothing was done properly and according to the rules of Democracy and Healthy Competition.

The property, the inauguration of which took place on Tuesday, October 29 with a priest for consecration and Mitsotakis as best man, was also done by direct assignment (to a “known” company) with an amount slightly below the upper limit.
But I wish it was only the opening!

The selection of the building for the Certification and Collection Centers of AADE and the competitions that took place were so rigged and photogenic that no other building could meet the specific criteria. Apart from the fact that, as everything shows, the space is completely unsuitable for what it is called to serve.
And strange that, despite the fact that the building was so… suitable for such a demanding service, it was unclaimed!

No one wanted this particular Mall in Piraeus, as we know.
Strange how someone found himself wanting it so much and even with a large monthly rent!
And – obviously – in the tender announcement, all the conditions photographed the specific building. You can also easily know how many buildings over 4,000 square meters are offered for rent. Obviously the rest should be excluded.
- This is how the criterion of the gross surface area of 4,256 square meters comes in…
Miraculously, the building was 4,234.43 sq.m.
- It is entered as a condition to be within the limit of the Municipality of Athens.
Obviously it didn’t make us – for example – Nea Smyrni or Faliro or Maroussi (where the Ministry of Education is located). The decentralization that the government is trumpeting is on its way.
- And so that there are no more surprises, another criterion is set. To be within a radius of 1000 meters from Means of Transport with a fixed trajectory. Buses or trolleys do not do for us for example.
It goes without saying that it also meets this criterion, regardless of whether so many buses pass in front of many other buildings.
- But the businessman who owns this property also achieved the maximum price. Not a penny less: 50,000 euros per month!
Well, the high price can be justified by the bridge they made for Mr. Pitsilis to move between this building and the adjacent pre-existing one so that he wouldn’t get his shoes dusty. It also has a roof garden for those who want to relax! They also presented energy certificates and changes to make it look more “green”!

Of course, Mr. Pitsilis may be enraged by what we write about photographic and rigged “reduced” contests… but as he well knows, Documento does investigative journalism in all directions. Besides, he appears as the orchestrator of the rigged tax audits that aim to harm the operation of independent investigative journalism, and more likely the operation of the Documento newspaper, by silencing those who are not liked by the government.
Alas if he couldn’t do a discounted photo contest with only one qualifying…
