AAC Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) Results

On April 4, 2024, the Hauts-de-France Regional Health Agency launched a call for applications aimed at creating a pool of professionals dedicated to supporting the Medical-Social Establishments and Services (ESMS) of the Hauts-de-France region, welcoming children or adults, in the implementation of a global approach to Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC).

“Alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) brings together a set of tools and strategies aimed at replacing or supporting oral language. It covers all human and material means allowing us to communicate differently or better than with the usual or natural modes, if the latter are altered or absent.” (Elisabeth Cataix-Nègre, 2017).
