JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Famous cleric Aa Gym sued for divorce from Teh Ninih to the Bandung Religious Court.
The Bandung Religious Court (PA) confirmed that KH Abdullah Gymnastiar’s divorce suit, who is familiarly called Aa Gym, and Ninih Muthmainmah Muhsin or Teh Ninih, is still in the mediation stage.
“Usually the first trial when both parties are present is directed to mediation,” said Bandung Religious Court Public Relations Mustofa at the Bandung Religious Court office, Jalan Terusan Jakarta, Bandung City, Thursday (18/3/2021).

Mustofa added that the panel of judges would first conduct mediation at the trial. However, if it is not successful, mediation is carried out by a mediator from the family side.
“God willing, there is (mediation), because of a provision that must be followed if both of them are present, mediation is carried out first. We try to provide advice, if it is not successful the judges in the trial will be mediated by the mediator from the family side,” he said.
