From today until Monday, the A7 northbound between Bordesholm and Rendsburg will be closed for repair work. Traffic is being diverted via the A215.
The closure begins at 8 p.m. The A7 then has to be bypassed for almost four days on the route between the Bordesholm motorway triangle and the Rendsburg motorway junction (both in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district). The route should be accessible again from 5 a.m. on Monday (October 14th). The reason for the closure is repair work on the road. Thin layers of asphalt should be applied to the existing road surface using so-called hot paving to make it more grippy and quieter. Since the work is heavily dependent on the weather, there may be changes in timing.
Detour is signposted
The one in the direction of Flensburg is diverted from the A7 to the A215 to Kiel before the Bordesholm motorway triangle. At the Kiel-West motorway junction, take the A210 towards Rendsburg to the Rendsburg motorway junction and then back onto the A7 heading north.
Road users on the A7 with the destination Nortorf (Rendsburg-Eckernförde district) can take the L328 at the Neumünster Nord junction.
