A 27-year-old overturns his car on the A661 near Langen. He comes injured to the hospital.
Langen – On Monday morning (March 7th, 2022) there was a traffic accident on the A661 near Langen in the direction of Offenbach. This is reported by the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse.
What happened? A 27-year-old car driver drove onto the Autobahn at the Langen junction and immediately turned left into the right lane without fully using the acceleration lane. He collided with a truck that was already on the right lane of the freeway. The 27-year-old’s Mitsubishi rolled over after the impact and lay on its side. The driver was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
The Mitsubishi remained on its side after the accident and blocked the A661 near Langen.

A661 near Langen blocked after accident: 27-year-old injured in hospital
Before the accident, the 56-year-old driver of the 40-ton truck apparently wanted to allow a truck driving in front of the Mitsubishi to enter the A661, according to the police’s initial findings on the background. The Autobahn was briefly closed at Langen. The police estimate the damage at around 20,000 euros. The police are looking for witnesses to further clarify the accident.
