On Friday afternoon around a quarter to six a crane caught fire at Oirschot on the A58. The highway was therefore closed from Breda to Eindhoven, but the road was open again around 7:30 am.

The accident took place between the De Baars junction and the Oirschot exit and caused many delays. You can detour via Den Bosch on the A65 and the A2.
Evening rush hour It was busy on the highways Friday. During the evening rush hour, traffic jams in the direction of Brabant increased rapidly. The longest traffic jam was still on the A2 from Utrecht to Den Bosch around five o’clock. At around 5:30 a.m., the delay on the highway was nearly an hour.
