Krefeld. On the A44, the road to the Krefeld-Forstwald interchange in the direction of Mönchengladbach will remain closed until 31 January 2023, according to Autobahn GmbH.
According to Autobahn GmbH, the reason for the extension of the closure is the weather conditions. According to the Rhineland branch, some work was not done as planned. A detour via the Willich-Münchheide interchange is signposted.
Autobahn GmbH describes the meaning and scope of the works in the section between the Neersen motorway junction and the Krefeld-Forstwald junction. The driveway closure was originally scheduled to end on December 17th.
