The redevelopment
The measure was adopted by the motorway manager, the Spa “Salerno Pompeii Naples” and communicated yesterday to allow the continuation of the redevelopment works on the stretch of road. The ramp will be closed from 6am on Monday to 6am on December 8th. In a note from the company we read that in this period «users heading from Cava de’ Tirreni to Salerno will be able to use the external road network of the former State Road 18 up to the Salerno junction». Therefore, the city streets that cross Cava de’ Tirreni will be loaded. Residents will have no choice but to use ordinary roads, which are already usually burdened by a lot of traffic. The hope is that it will be finished in time, otherwise there is a risk of major repercussions close to Christmas, given the start of the festive events starting from Artist’s Lights.
