A3 full closures in the Erlangen and Fürth area – diversions announced
In the course of these construction measures, the A3 closed in the direction of Nuremberg from the Erlangen-West junction to the Erlangen-Frauenaurach junction. Road users are diverted at the Erlangen-West junction and via the Demand diversion U19 to the Erlangen-Frauenaurach junction. The full lockdown also affects Road users in the direction of Würzburg. It extends over the Autobahn junction Fürth/Erlangen to the Erlangen junction. Road users become at the motorway junction Fürth-Erlangen first via the A73 in the direction of Bamberg to the Erlangen-Bruck junction and from there via the On-demand diversions U78 and U80 to the Erlangen-West junction. All detour routes will be signposted.
In addition, Nordbayern GmbH gave one important information for visitors to the Aurach service station and rest area. She recommends leaving the petrol station and rest area with vehicles on Saturday (May 6, 2023) by 7 p.m. at the latest. Reason: a Leaving the tank and rest area on the A3 after the full closure has been set up only possible again on Sunday (May 7, 2023), probably from around 11 p.m. This affects both the Nuremberg carriageway and the Frankfurt/Main carriageway.
