The A23 is to be enlarged to six lanes between Tornesch and Hamburg. According to the responsible construction company DEGES, the surveying work has now started. However, there are protests from residents.
More than 80,000 vehicles use the motorway every day. According to the Ministry of Transport, however, traffic repeatedly stalls or accidents occur. That should change with the six-lane expansion to a length of almost 16 kilometers. The work should actually have started a long time ago, originally last autumn was planned. That had been delayed.

Some already distributed flyers in the neighborhood – for example in Rellingen and Halstenbek. You want to provide information about the planned A23 expansion and thus have an exchange together. The aim is to found a citizens’ initiative.
