Two sports cars drove on the A2 Towards Hanover close to each other – then there was a bang!

In the race, a Chevrolet Corvette and an Audi RS6 drove close together on Tuesday at high speed A2 between Hamm and Hamm-Uentrop.
At around 11 a.m., the 33-year-old Corvette driver from Dortmund crashed into a long right-hand bend against a small van, which in turn skidded against a truck from Werther and then overturned on a grass verge. The 30-year-old driver suffered minor injuries.

Second sports car driver fled
The Corvette hurled further across the road, also brushing the truck. The driver was slightly injured, his sports car badly damaged all around. The truck driver was not injured.
The second participant in the race fled in his black Audi RS6, presumably with a Dortmund license plate. His identity is unknown. According to consistent testimony, the Chevrolet and Audi drivers drove close together at high speed.
