The A1 highway near Kootwijk is completely closed in the direction of Amersfoort due to an accident with a crane truck. According to the police, the driver ran off the road for unknown reasons and shot through the guardrail.
A car was hit and the driver of that car was taken to hospital with injuries. The driver of the crane truck has been taken away by the police for investigation.
