An unidentified person drew the letter Z with white paint on a Russian tank that was destroyed in Ukraine and recently installed in front of the Museum of Freedom in the Dutch city of Groesbeek.
It is reported by “European truth” with reference to NL Times.
The letter Z, a symbol of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, appeared on the tank on Sunday afternoon, museum director Wel Lenders said. Museum staff quickly washed off the paint and informed the police.
“This is punishable. This is a historical object that we received on lease. We are considering measures in this regard,” the museum said.
A badly damaged T-72B tank and a bullet-riddled Ukrainian ambulance have been in Groesbeek on the square in front of the Freedom Museum since Friday.
The Ukrainian army seized the tank last March after it hit a mine during a Russian attack on Kyiv.
Recall that a tank shot down by the Russians has already been exhibited in many European countries, including Germany, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. Some cities refused to exhibitfor example, Estonian Narva.
