32-year-old Tanya Borgodzhiyska from Rakovski, who has been battling many diseases for years, died in Vienna this morning. She could not withstand the lung transplant. The tragic news was announced by Lilyana Slavova and she called on her fellow citizens to raise funds for the transportation of the body.
“The family has no chance. Let whoever can help people bring their child and bury him,” said Slavova, a neighbor. And he especially addressed the business representatives from Rakovski.
About 5,000 euros were needed for transportation alone, but the amount is likely to increase. Funeral money is also needed separately.
“The woman is young and has been struggling with many diseases for years. The municipality has helped over the years, organized campaigns. Apparently in Vienna they could not help her,” said Rakovski MP Mladen Shishkov.
Tanya’s mother died young. Her father and grandmother raised two children in great pain and deprivation. “Since she was born, she has a sick heart. And always in hospitals and sanatoriums. We constantly helped the neighbors,” Slavova told 24 Chassa.
According to her, the young woman could not stand the transplant and died this morning.
Dozens of Rakovski express their condolences and express their readiness to respond with whatever they can. According to Shishkov, the municipality itself will also allocate an amount.
