Marie Bernard, 24, opened an optical shop in Aurec-sur-Loire, “Q debouteilles”, on Tuesday in the place of the former office of the tourist office, rue du Commerce.
For Marie Bernard, a qualified optician-eyewear manufacturer, settling in Aurec-sur-Loire was considered obvious. With only one optician for every 6,000 inhabitants when Monistrol and its 9,000 inhabitants have five, the potential seems there.
And the optician, originally from La Chapelle-d’Aurec, plays the proximity card. He studied optics in Yssingeaux and then in Lyon before continuing with a degree at the Institute of Vision Sciences of Saint-Etienne to develop his knowledge in the world of lenses (contactology) and optometry. .
Glasses of €100
The optician “Q debouteilles” collaborates with the glassmaker Zeiss. “She produces most of her glasses in France and develops an attraction to visual health,” says the young woman.
As for the frames, he offers glasses from €100, most of them are between €100 and €200. And a French designer brand is offered for more than €200.
An eye examination room was set up with all the necessary equipment.
