Alias ’El Barón‘, is accused of being responsible for taking the life of Duber Jair Imbachi Díaz in the main Palestinian park.
The suspect was captured in the Cristo Rey area of Pitalito, after a five-month investigation, in which the authorities gathered enough evidence to allow his prosecution.
“SIJIN investigators arrived in the area of Cristo Rey in Valle de Laboyos to make an arrest warrant against a 20-year-old man, known as ‘El Barón’, who is wanted for the crimes of suicide and trafficking of firearms and weapon,” a police spokesman said, adding that he had a blue Interpol ring.
It should be remembered that the bloody incident in which ‘El Barón’ would be involved took place on May 19 this year, when Duber, nicknamed ‘Mirringo’, was just one block from the Palestinian Police Station, Huila, where did the thugs make an attempt on his life by shooting him at head level. Although he received help, he did not survive.
“In the main park, the man who was caught today would have spoken to the musician, hit him in the head with a gun and fled in the company of another criminal on a motorcycle,” the institution confirmed.
Duber was a well-known trumpet player in the local music groups, which is why the crime provoked revenge in the population. The Police are still looking for his colleague to present him to the competent authorities.
