Al-Marsad Newspaper: The surgical team at Prince Muhammad bin Nasser Hospital in Jazan saved a patient’s life after removing a tumor in the neck, which was pressing on the left internal jugular artery, trachea and neck muscles.
For her part, Dr. Alaa Hakami, leader of the general surgery team at the hospital, said that the patient went to the hospital and was suffering from neck pain, swelling, and difficulty in swallowing and breathing.
Hakami indicated that the surgical medical team conducted the necessary medical examinations for the patient, and it was found that there was a tumor in the neck pressing on the trachea and the arteries and veins of the neck.
She explained that the medical team performed an operation to completely remove the tumor, which was successful, and the patient left the hospital.
