A young Japanese woman took a beer thief by the throat. He saw it from the animated series

When Karin Ryová entered one of Yokohama‘s small convenience stores, the so-called kombini, on the evening of September 16, there was also a man there at that time who decided to steal a six-pack of beer.

The workers in this shop noticed and tried to stop the thief, and a fight ensued. Karin also ran to her, grabbed the man’s legs, knocked him to the ground and then put on a so-called tie.

The thief managed to bite her hand hard, but the young woman did not give in and held on until the police arrived at the scene and arrested the perpetrator.

In connection with this, of course, comments immediately appeared about whether Karin has good training in martial arts. But the opposite is true. “I have never practiced martial arts. I only went to tea ceremony lessons,” the website quoted the young heroine as saying Sora 24 news. “But I like animated series, so I imitated what I saw there,” she explained.

At the same time, she admitted that she did not know at the first moment how dangerous the situation could be for her. “I wasn’t scared at all, my body moved on its own,” she described her feelings during the intervention, adding that she only realized later that the thief might have had a knife or he is armed in another way.

Although the Japanese police asked people not to be involved in similar incidents, not to expose themselves to danger and to contact the police as soon as possible, they also publicly thanked the young crime fighter and they gave her a diploma for her bravery.
