A young girl from Canada had to be admitted to the hospital urgently because of a ridiculous accident.
Renee Lariviere was with her friend who threw her car key in such a way that it lodged its tip millimeters below her left eye.
I felt a sharp pain on my face, and then my girlfriend looked at me and said, “Oh my God! Do not move!”. Then she panicked, the girl says.
She was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where a plastic surgeon took care of her, who removed the key from her face and stitched up her wound.
Fortunately, it turns out that the key missed the eye by millimeters.
There were doctors from different departments coming to see him because they couldn’t believe it. One of them even came to take pictures so he could show his students. He was an ER doctor and he wanted to show them that anything could happen, the girl recalled.
Today, Larivier is not only fully recovered, but there is no scar to remind of the unfortunate incident.
