a young florist becomes the best apprentice in France

It was last November 23 in Angers: Roxanne Hinderer became best apprentice florist in France. The 18-year-old works in the family business “Envie de Fleurs”, installed Porte de Bâle in Mulhouse.

Roxane is in her second year of CAP. Titles are a family affair with the Hinderer, his big sister Perrine has already been crowned in 2014, best apprentice in France.

Flowers: a family passion for the Hinderers

Roxane Hinderer has always loved flowers, it was her mother, a florist, who transmitted this passion to her from a very young age. “When I was little, I slept under the counter. When I got home from school, I saw mom making bouquets. As time went by, she handed me flowers and I also made bouquets,” remembers the young woman.

However, before taking her CAP florist, Roxane embarked on carpentry, but she returned to her first passion.

To win her title, Roxane had to follow a day of trials. She had in front of her 15 other competitors. It was necessary to carry out a personalized preparation of a tree and the hardest test: to make a bouquet with 130 stems. “It was quite physical, you had to hold the bouquet with its 130 stems, it was not very easy. I went for it and I did it,” confides the Mulhouse.

On her return to Mulhouse, in the family store, Roxane continues to make pretty bouquets, for the greatest pleasure of customers, while savoring its title best apprentice in France.
