Modena, 26 November 2024 – Specializing doctor 28 year old Reggio Emilia man attacked in the outskirts of Modena, in the ‘Buon Pastore’ district by some kids, perhaps from a baby gang, and hit on the head with a wrench.

It happened on Friday evening. This was reported by La Gazzetta di Reggio e di Modena through the words of the victim himself, Samuele Cantergiani (son of Gianluca, the former group leader of the Democratic Party in the city council in Reggio Emilia) who lives in Modena after obtaining a degree in Medicine and having undertaken the path of specialization.

“I went out for take out the garbage – he explained -. I was listening to music with earphones and, absentmindedly, I passed by a group of kids. I noticed that two of them had started following me and when I saw that they were alongside me, I turned to ask them if they had any needs. And at that point two other boys appeared and in an instant I found all four on top of me.”

Then the blow to the head. “I saw one of the boys holding a tool, I think it was a wrench. I can’t say whether it was from the blow or from the fact that they saw the blood. In fact, they ran away.” There were four kids. The complaint was made immediately and the police are investigating those responsible of the attack.
