Three minutes to support Neuchâtel traders. Through short videos posted on Instagram, Garance La Fata presents businesses in the canton, which are suffering from the health crisis, and gives them visibility. The young actress lost her job last year because of the health crisis, but she did not let go. At the end of November, she embarked on this adventure called “A local Christmas” (now renamed “A local desire”). Meetings, discussions and good addresses are at the heart of Garance La Fata’s work.
Since the new closure of “non-essential” stores imposed by the Federal Council, the young woman has mainly turned to stores in the region offering ancillary services (online store, delivery, click & collect) in order to constitute a book of ‘addresses for local purchases. And Garance La Fata intends to make new videos: “I’m imagining cool things. What is appreciated in the adventure “A local desire” is precisely this human side that we find in the videos. “Moreover, the actress is embarking on a few Instagram“ lives ”to cook alongside a pastry chef from Chaux-de-Fonnière.
