Augne. JUNE Activities resume their schedule. The small town of Augne has, among its associations, a secular association which offers activities which attract, each time, many people from the town and surrounding localities.
Recently, the association met in general assembly in the village hall and the program of festivities planned for the year which has begun has been announced.
1 Music Festival. The first of the events will take place with the start of summer, which rhymes with the music festival, on June 21 from 6 p.m. in the garden of the old school (composed by the town hall and the Michel-Lacouturière village hall ).
2 Communal feast. At the end of July, on the 29th and 30th, the traditional communal festival will take place during which a cabaret show will be offered as well as other activities, the program of which will be unveiled soon.
3 Veal on the spit. Sunday, August 20, a meal around the veal cooked on the spit on site will still be offered in the village hall. Then, Saturday, September 23, there will be a meal consisting of mussels and fries.
4 Chestnut meal. Finally, Saturday, October 21, will come the time for the traditional chestnut meal prepared by the association’s volunteers.
As explained by the members of the office, this program of animations, if it is already fixed, the details of each of them will be revealed later.
