Car center employees rushed to the rescue of a woman in her 60s
A man in his 60s was booked without detention for ‘special threats’
It is known that the car center owner and employees arrested a man in his 60s who threatened a female mart owner with a blunt weapon and handed him over to the police.
On the 4th, the Incheon Central Police Station announced that it had booked without detention a man in his 60s on charges of special threats.
Mr. A is accused of threatening Mr. B, a woman in her 60s, who is the owner of the mart, at a mart in Yeongjong Island, Incheon at around 6:40 pm on the 22nd of last month, holding a soju bottle and an iron pipe.
Mr. A made a fuss by pouring soju inside the mart, and when Mr. B ran out of the mart, he chased him with an iron pipe. Mr. B, who was in a hurry, went to the car center next to the mart and knocked on the door and shouted, “Please help me.”
Mr. C, the owner of the car center, and his employees, who came out after receiving Mr. B’s request for help, found Mr. A standing at the entrance of the car center holding an iron pipe.
Mr. A ran away after seeing the car center staff, but was caught by the car center owner C and the staff.
As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that Mr. A committed the crime after being stopped by Mr. B while drinking in a mart.
A police official said, “We plan to call Mr. A again soon to investigate the exact circumstances of the crime.”
Meanwhile, Mr. C, the car center owner, was confirmed to be an executive who served in the military for 10 years. It is said that Mr. C and his staff guarded the front of the mart instead until the police arrived, just in case.
Mr. B, who reported the situation to MBC, said, “I wondered if there were people like this in this harsh world these days. I was moved to see that he helped until the end, so I wanted to inform and praise him to many people.”
