A woman was shocked when she found out why she had pain in her intimate area while having sex – 18+

Every time she has sex, Scarlett Rose from Australia experiences excruciating pain in her intimate area. Before realizing that she was actually born with two vaginas, the woman thought that, in general, intercourse “was normal to be painful.”

Even at the check-ups she goes to, the doctors tell her it’s all in her head, leaving her feeling like some kind of “alien”.

However, when the time came for her to give birth, doctors discovered that her vagina was actually split in two.

“When I found out I had two vaginas, it was a relief because over the years I’d been wondering what was wrong,” Rose told North News & Pictures.

Rose’s unusual condition is known medically as transverse vaginal septum, and the abnormality occurs in one in 300,000 women, according to studies. Eventually, she underwent surgery and her condition improved.

“I no longer feel pain when having sex, I finally have a normal life. I want other women to know that they are not alone in this,” says Rose.
