The man, who was 67, drove up to her and hit her head on with the car. Witnesses called 112 and an ambulance came to the scene and transported the woman to Constanța County Hospital.
The person was identified, taken to the police for questioning and detained for 24 hours. At the same time, the Constanța magistrates decided that the man should be sent to protective custody for 30 days. He is accused of intentionally wounding his girlfriend and is now being investigated for assault and other violence.
