In the United States, a woman organized a wonderful photoshoot for her dog’s pregnancy. Through her gesture, she aims to raise awareness of animal welfare.
Caitie Evers is passionate about animals. This young American, originally from Texas, works as a volunteer in an animal shelter. In November, she rescued a stray dog from the street.

At home, Caitie noticed that the female golden retriever, named Lily-Mae, was expecting a happy event. So she decided to organize a “pregnancy photoshoot” for her.
Magnificent shots
“I always wanted to do one because I thought it would be fun. My friend is a photographer so we went to our park and had fun taking some pictures », she told our colleagues at Metro
According to him, the shooting went very well. For the occasion, Lily-Mae wore a beautiful flower tiara and a burgundy cape. The hairball has also posed with his mistress, and the photo of this accomplice duo may melt your heart.

Catie said the goal of the photoshoot was to raise awareness about animal welfare and encourage people to think about how they treat their pets.
A litter of eight puppies
In Texas, hundreds of thousands of stray dogs are trying to survive on the streets, as was the case with Lily-Mae.
“Lily-Mae got pregnant on the street and it’s really lucky we found her then. If she had given birth in the street, the babies would not have survived ”, Caitie said.
A few days after the shoot, the golden retriever gave birth to a litter of eight healthy puppies. For the moment, the small canines take advantage of their mother before being offered for adoption.
For her part, Lily-Mae has adapted very well to her new family and seems very happy.
