A woman in Wijdewormer was attacked by her own bull

The animal belongs to a woman who was seriously injured by a bull attack in Wijdewormer yesterday. The loose bull broke on the woman’s property.

As the bull had not yet been caught, it was impossible for rescuers to reach the injured woman. The aggressive animal also accepted attendants after the attack.

Several hunters had come to the spot to shoot the animal, but that was not necessary in the end. According to the police, the animal was tied “with all possible efforts”. The bull was euthanized twice.

The woman was taken to hospital. It is not known how she is doing now.

A neighbor, who owns a dairy farm, tells the NH regional broadcaster that the bull was on its way to the slaughterhouse with two others. The woman had had the animals since they were calves. According to the neighbor “for the entertainment.”

The farmer says it doesn’t take much before a bull comes out. “At a certain point they’re big and then that’s just the way it is, they can run wild.”

The neighbor, along with other bystanders, helped the police bring the bull under control. “They were then moved to a temporary residence,” said the neighbor, who believes the animals will be killed soon.
