A woman in labor glued K-19 from her husband days before the birth and found herself in the intensive care unit, and finally …

Young couples treated for coronavirus saw their baby for the first time through a video call on the phone.

Enes Ersioz, 31, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on August 4th. After that, his wife Aishen was quarantined.

A few days later, she also tested positive for the disease. She was placed in the intensive care unit and intubated on August 11. The next day, Aishen gave birth to a healthy baby weighing 2.6 kilograms by cesarean section.

At that moment, the child’s father was being treated at another hospital.

The management of the medical institution where the baby was born decided to surprise his parents by providing them with video calls, the Anatolian Agency reports.

“I had the opportunity to see our baby on video for the first time. I would like to touch my baby on my lap, not on the phone screen,” mother Ayshen told the media.

She called on everyone to get vaccinated, as it is good for them and their loved ones.

And the father said that he postponed the vaccination due to workload, but after leaving the hospital he did it. He worked as a butcher.
