A 46-year-old woman was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention, accused of killing a man whose body had been found in a cardboard box, we learned on Tuesday from the Bobigny prosecutor’s office.
The 36-year-old man went to the suspect’s apartment at Pré-Saint-Gervais (Seine-Saint-Denis) to extort money from him, said a police source. He would have forced the door open and the woman would have defended herself with a tear gas canister.
“If the death of the victim is the consequence of a respiratory failure, according to the autopsy, the circumstances and the exact date of his death are not yet known”, indicates the public prosecutor of Bobigny.
The body placed in a television packaging carton
According to a source close to the investigation, the woman had placed the corpse, small in size, in a large television packaging box, taking advantage of her move. Then the movers had left the box at his mother’s home in Mée-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne).
