American Steven Weber stayed in a flooded cabin at the Manta Resort in Tanzania with his partner Kenesha Antoine. She filmed Weber diving underwater on his third night at the resort and emerging from under the glass that was part of the cabin floor, overlooking the water below. .
A video of the terrifying incident has gone viral again on Channel X. In the video, Weber can be seen pressing a handwritten note of praise against the glass after seeing Antoine appear from below wearing a mask and wings. Kenesha, who continued filming, was surprised and happy that he did this romantic act and smiled with joy as she read the note.
He said, “I can’t hold my breath long enough to tell you everything I love about you. But… everything I love about you, I love you more every day!” Then he turned over the note, where it was written: “Will you marry me?”

Then he took out the ring and began to make his way back to the surface. Unfortunately, Weber did not return to the surface alive, as Antoine confirmed the death of her partner in a Facebook post, explaining how he never emerged from that depth.
Manta Resort confirmed to the BBC that Weber “unfortunately drowned outside the underwater room”, saying: “It is with deep regret that we report a fatal accident at Manta Resort on Thursday 19 September 2019.”
Resort general manager Matthew South said everyone was “shocked to the core” by Weber’s death. He told the BBC that workers responded quickly to “a problem in the water”, but said sadly that when they arrived “there was nothing that could be done”.
The couple booked a four-night stay in the hotel’s famous underwater room, which is located about 250 meters from the shore and anchored in 10 meters of water.
In an emotional Facebook post, Antoine said Weber never heard her answer to her question, which she said would have been “a million times yes.”
She said: “We never got to hug and celebrate the beginning of our lives together because the best day of our lives turned out to be the worst day, in the cruelest twist of fate. imaginable. I try to find solace in the fact that we’ve had the most amazing bucket list experiences over the past few days and that we’ve both been so happy and lazy lately us together.”
Remember that a tourist flew to Egypt and found that his hotel is not actually there. He booked the “luxury” accommodation himself.
