A woman dies after being arrested for not wearing the hijab, a manifestation of Iranian residents

Protests broke out Iran to protest the death of a young woman who was arrested by the moral police for violating hijab rules. In the protest, the women who participated in the demonstration took off their hijab in large numbers.

As reported AFPOn Tuesday (9/20/2022), public anger escalated after Iranian authorities announced his death on Friday (9/16/2022) Mahsa Amini (22) in hospital after falling into a coma for three days, following his arrest by the moral police Tehran on 13 September last.

Reportage from the news agency Far away And Tasnim these demonstrations against Amina’s death took place on Monday (19/9) local time in various locations in the capital Tehran, including some universities, as well as in the city of Mashhad.

The protesters, according to the news agency ISNAorganized a long march on Hijab Street in central Tehran, shouting the condemnation of the moral police.

“Several hundred people shouted slogans against local authorities, some of them took off their hijabs,” the Fars news agency said in its report.

Police arrested several people and dispersed the crowd with batons and tear gas,” the report added.

Posted a short video Far away showed a crowd of dozens of people, including women taking off their veils and veils, chanting “Death to the Islamic Republic!” in action. Press Agency Tasnim reported that a similar demonstration was held in the city of Mashhad.
