His father drove him away from the scene, and the girl was referred to Soroka Hospital for medical treatment. The parking lot is temporarily closed to visitors

An unusual incident in the Negev: A wolf entered during the night (between Friday and Saturday) into the territory of the Mashit National Park near Dimona and tore a tent belonging to a family that was sleeping in the overnight parking lot on the site. He then bit a girl sleeping in the tent and pulled her out.
The wolf ran away after her father woke up and drove him away. The MDA team gave the girl first aid on the spot and transferred her to receive medical treatment at Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva.

The Nature and Parks Authority stated that scans are being carried out in the area in order to locate the wolf. It was also reported that the overnight parking lot in the national park is temporarily closed to visitors, until the issue is resolved.
