A sheep and its owner were attacked by a wolf near the Rhodope village of Sitovo. The victim, Petko Dimitrov, reported the incident that happened three days ago.
“The beast attacked us 10 meters from the fountain in the Kriva Reka area. The dogs intervened and saved the sheep, but it has serious wounds and is fighting for its life,” said Dimitrov, who was not injured in the predator’s attack. He urged tourists to be careful so as not to be surprised by the aggressive beast.
“Pete, aren’t there any sheep in the area?” asked Stefan Georgiev. Rumena Petrova thanked for the information and wished the sheep to survive.
In recent years, the village of Sitovo and the area around it have become a popular tourist destination with their beautiful nature and more and more people are visiting them.
