Diana Dimitrova was not beaten, but pushed by Julian Vergov into the clothes hangers. This happened in front of the eyes of the person responsible for the costumes, Velina Pavlova, it is clear from the decree of the prosecutor’s office refusing to investigate the case.
The document was uploaded on Facebook by the actress. 3 months ago, Dimitrova published several photos showing her bruised eyes and injuries on her shoulder. She then wrote that she did not file a report after the incident, but did not say when she did. From the decree, which is dated March 1, it is understood that it is November 14, 2017. Then Dimitrova and Vergov filmed the TV series “Stolen Life”. In her explanations to the investigators, Dimitrova claimed that she had an intimate relationship with the actor. He denies it, says they were on friendly terms.
The day before the scene, he found out that Dimitrova was close to his daughter, then still a minor. You wrote to each other on social networks. Vergov points out that on November 14 he told Dimitrova that he no longer wished to maintain friendly relations and that their communication would now be purely official.
According to Dimitrova she asked to speak with Vergov after a phone scandal the night before. He grabbed her, lifted her, and she fell. Then he started kicking her in the face. He was swearing all the time, Dimitrova told the investigators. She claimed that they were alone in the dressing room then. Two people found her beaten, and the producer Evtim Miloshev convinced her not to report, is Dimitrova’s version. She treated the wounds with cream.
Vergov’s version is that after he told Dimitrova to stop communicating with his daughter, he left the dressing room alone. Then Diana followed him. The anchor admits that he pushed Dimitrova, but not that he hit and kicked her.
“The testimony of Velina Pavlova is extremely important in the specific case,” reads the decree of the prosecutor’s office refusing to open an investigation. It is clear from it that Pavlova, who is a costume designer, was present on the stage and saw Vergov pushing Dimitrova, and the actress, who also performs as an artist, falling on a hanger. Immediately after that, Vergov left, and Pavlova went to help Diana. Even then, she was very surprised why Dimitrova claimed that she had been kicked. She even pointed out that this was not true and that she had seen absolutely everything.
During the inspection, the photos uploaded by Dimitrova were even examined. Several bruises were visible on them. The medical examiner concluded that they may have been caused by kicks, but since there are no medical records, it cannot be determined whether they really happened when the actress claimed.
Since more than 3 years have passed, the prosecutor is closing the investigation. He points out that if it is accepted that Vergov is the perpetrator of the crime, then Dimitrova should have gone to court in order to start a case.
“How come there is a woman witness in a dressing room, 3 meters long, and she does nothing from an elementary human position and reaction,” Dimitrova asked in the Facebook post with which she uploaded the decision. “How come there is already proof that the photos are authentic and that this is not makeup according to the experts, and how is the “verification” terminated?”, she also wrote. Dimitrova can appeal the ruling.
