Sometimes he doesn’t hesitate to literally jump in front of a runaway car, whether it’s a passenger or a truck. Other times, it is waiting to be picked up in the middle of a roundabout or intersection.

The police have been alerted to the woman’s dangerous actions in the past. Representatives of the Lutín district department recorded several announcements related to the hitchhiker jumping into the road.

“They solved the negotiations by an agreement and an order on the spot,” said police spokesman Libor Hejtman, adding that the pedestrian must follow the prescribed rules. Violation of them can result in a fine of up to two thousand. However, the hitchhiker obviously did not learn any lessons from it and further threatens road safety.

Motorists agree that they met the same woman years ago at Vysoké Mýto or in Svitavy. The mayor of the village, Jakub Chrást, confirmed that this is not a native of Lutín. “All I know about the lady is that she lives here in a dormitory, she often tracks in all directions and does not participate in public life in any way,” he said.

The mysterious contents of the bags

As a driver, he also meets her, but he did not personally notice a more serious offense. “He always gestures inappropriately. The woman is said to say that she is a teacher of mentally handicapped children. But she probably needs help herself. However, it is difficult to say whether she is seriously ill or just cheeky.
